The HeartCare Midwest property, purchased by Cullinan Properties, Ltd. in 2008, is one example of a medical sale/leaseback transaction. HeartCare Midwest, a cardiovascular practice of 33 physicians and over 200 support staff, combined their three Peoria offices into one convenient location to provide better service to their patients. Extensive research went into the location and design of the facility, with a focus on the comfort and wellbeing of their patients. The four-story, 87,000 square foot medical office building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology throughout. The new building is full service, bringing together the research, diagnostic services, and cardiovascular services into one central location. Constructed in 2005, this medical/office building is located on the Proctor Hospital campus on Peoria’s near-north side.
